Introduction

Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam Matisse

To promote the temporary showing of works by the famous French artist Henri Matisse we helped create a short film in which his work comes to life.

Mattise was inspired by the shapes and silhouettes of plants and flowers and directly translated this into his distinctive paper cut out style.

Playfullness

To show the tactile and playful way Matisse lifted the shapes from nature onto his canvas we literally peeled of these natural elements and made them gracefully drift onto the canvas.
